Monogrammed Coffee Sleeves

Continuing with my series on quick and inexpensive embroidery gift ideas I would like to share one of my favorites, monogrammed coffee sleeves. This is a design that I purchased from embroiderygarden.com. I love to drink coffee and I use my coffee sleeve nearly everyday. The sleeve will fit a 12, 16 or 20 oz. cup. These are made in-the-hoop with one hooping. With all of my supplies pre-cut and ready to go it will only take about 15 minutes per sleeve to make using a multi-needle embroidery machine.

The design comes with these formats included: ART, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX. There are 2 blank sleeves and the designer also includes a sleeve in each format with every letter of the alphabet to personalize them! This option saves a lot of time because I don’t have to open it in my embroidery software to add a personal monogram. As with everything else I have bought from this designer, the quality is top-notch and the instructions are clear and precise with color pictures to guide you during the construction process.

I am making several to give out for Christmas gifts this year. Embroidery Garden even has a great tutorial on how to display these sleeves for gifts or sale with a printable template of a coffee cup.

The button is hand sewn to the opposite side of the elastic. It holds well and doesn’t slide. I hope my friends enjoy these as much as I do!

    1. Thank you so much for the lovely compliment! I have a Bablylock Enterprise which is a 10 needle machine. I absolutely love this machine and have not used my single needle machine once since upgrading. It has a beautiful stitch and it is very easy to use. We looked at several before purchasing but decided on this one because the dealer is local and if I need help she is readily available. It is basically the same as the Brother, and many of the parts are interchangeable. Good luck and if I can answer any more questions please don’t hesitate to ask!
